3 Years Free Log Book Servicing The 3 Years Free scheduled servicing offer is available on NEW Korando, Rexton, Musso and Musso XLV (not available on Tivoli and Tivoli XLV) currently in SsangYong Australia and Dealer stock that are registered and delivered on or before 31st July 2020. SsangYong Australia Pty Ltd will provide the Customer with 3 years of free scheduled servicing for the Vehicle subject to the following: First three services are included: - 12 months or 15,000km, - 24 months or 30,000 km, and - 36 months or 45,000km. The campaign period is 1st July to 31st July 2020. The vehicle must be registered and delivered on or before 31st July 2020 to qualify. The items included are shown on the ‘Service Pricing Information’ section of the SsangYong Australia website for the Vehicle model under the heading ‘What’s Included’. The items excluded are shown on the ‘Service Pricing Information’ section of the SsangYong Australia website for the Vehicle model under the heading ‘Additional Service Menu Items’. Cost for additional service menu items, dependent on driving conditions are at the owners expense. The Customer may take the Vehicle to any authorised SsangYong dealer for the free servicing. The service intervals for the Vehicle must be met. The Vehicle must be well maintained. The Vehicle must not be modified. Vehicle must not have been subject to abnormal use (resulting in unusual wear and tear) in the reasonable opinion of SsangYong. The Vehicle must have been operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and specified operating limitations. The Vehicle odometer or other vehicle system must not have been tampered with in the reasonable opinion of SsangYong. Genuine SsangYong replacement parts must always be used in the Vehicle. The benefit of this program may not be transferred to a new owner of the vehicle or any other person or to any other vehicle. Free Servicing does not include repairs to the Vehicle (whether or not due to normal use). If servicing is carried out despite non-compliance with the servicing schedule or vehicle modifications, this does not validate the new vehicle warranty if it would otherwise have been invalidated due to the non-compliance or modification. This offer will expire after 3.5 years (42 months) from the date of first registration of the Vehicle (‘Offer Period’). No refund will be provided in the event that the free servicing is not utilised within the Offer Period, whatever the reason including due to the Vehicle being written off or de-registered. These terms and conditions do not limit, alter or exclude the rights of the Customer under the Australian Consumer Law.

POWERTRAIN

Electronic Brake-Force Distribution

Anti-Lock Brake System

EBD-ABS distributes brake force appropriately to the front and rear wheels according to the vehicle’s load of passengers and/or cargo.

Electronic Stability Programme

ESP constantly monitors road conditions and vehicle status and automatically adjusts engine output and braking whenever the driver is about to lose control. It integrates the ABS, active rollover protection, anti-slip regulation and brake-force assist.

Brake Assist System

BAS automatically activates full braking in an emergency to reduce the vehicle’s braking distance to help avoid an accident.

ISOFIX

The new Rexton also takes the safety of children seriously.

The car is equipped with ISOFIX child-seat mountings to the rear outer seats to ensure that child seats are attached firmly and rigidly.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

Tyre pressure is something the driver will never be unsure about in the new Rexton. A tyre pressure monitoring is built into the car’s electronics and displayed via the trip computer.

Each tyre is continually checked for pressure and the driver is immediately warned of unsafe readings.
